FW - 'Scuse my intrusion, but wondered if you might be able to help out - seeing as your the main Irish fella 'n' all. Yesterday I got an old book by Harry Swan called "The Book of Inishowen" which is packed with the folklore & ancient sites of the region. In checking for them on TMA, it seems many of them didn't seem to be there. If I give y' a list of 'em as named by Swan, might you be able to find out more. I appreciate half of them are probably known by other names already posted on TMA - but I thought there'd no harm in making sure. (if you've already got the book, please forgive me)

I'll give it my best shot. I have a wodge of books and a few people to ask if I don't know 'em.

Hi Paulus , if it's rock art in the Inishowen area your'e interested in , then part 2 of Maarten van Hoek 's "the Prehistoric rock art of Co. Donegal" is very useful . it was published by the Ulster Journal of Archaeology , you could get a photocopy from the centarl library Belfast , btw part 1 covers Doagh Island.
