When you see it in context, all 9 deliberately daubed (10! *hangs head in shame*)and just one with lettering on it, the biblical connection does look quite likely, especially if the last character is a 5. What else could it indicate? And of course almost no religious people would dream of doing this but on the other hand extreme religion and nutjobs often correspond. I hope it's something the police are looking at. But clearly the motivations of anyone fucked up enough to daub paint over a prehistoric monument, are a bit hazy for me to grasp, and it doesn't really matter where they got the inspiration does it. Most bible readers don't do feel the need to do such things.
