Were you at the Nine Ladies for solstice?

If so, I would like to share your experience.

I am researching the values and meanings that people attach to stone circles, and specifically the Nine Ladies.

I would like to know whatever it is that is special about the place to you and about your views on how the site could or should be managed.

Replying to robish

I was there.
I walked across the moor completely alone in the dark at midnight. I wasn't expecting to meet anyone I knew. But I knew that I could join someone. I went to the nearest fire and introduced myself (If Shoey or Emma from Ashton are reading then thanks for your hospitality!). We had some beers and stuff, enjoyed the music and fire breathing and the sunrise was excellent.
The ambience was amazing, it was bloody cold though!
