I did read that the mining company was being offered alternative sites but I thought that had come to nothing.

What a victory for the protesters if it is true.

Had a look on the NWest ceefax and teletext. No mention of it there as yet. I'll check later on (and keep all fiddly bits crossed it's true!) 8^)
