Bloody typical :^( - I had to choose a book (no chance to research) from the (fairly crap) selection at Borders in Leeds today as one of my leaving prezzies from colleagues. I decided against the Bradley 'Significance' book as, at a glance, it seemed to try to cover too much ground....

Erm, what's Julian Thomas's 'Understanding the neolithic' like????

Oh well, even if I made the wrong decision, i've got some nice Neil Young CDs & one of the few Thin Lizzys missing from me collection to look forward to.

I found the 'Significance' book to be an interesting read. 'Understanding...' on the other hand is a bit too academic for me - I've struggled throught he first couple of chapters and have switched to other reading for a while.
