I hate being right sometimes coz it's a horrible story

This is what I said a short while......."I'm a semi-country boy and in my experience sheep have not been a problem - ewes can get very protective of lambs (e.g. this time of the year) but nothing serious. Where as several people have been killed by cows, usually dog owners whose dogs have worried young calves and been attacked by mother cow; the owner then panics, tries to help and gets crushed / trampled. Again, this is usually only when mothers think they are protecting their young."

And there was also the thread that led me to find out the disturbing stats of how many people die at the hands (hooves) of cows......

Always follow the edge of a field if cows are it. At least you dive under the barbed wire.

If your in the middle you are shafted, when cows go bad.

And on a lighter note,, they predict the weather for you;
