I seem to remember some years back they also found post holes under the car park that pre-dated the henge by many years (is this true or did I imagine it?). Having grown up in Amesbury and Durrington it's nice to think there's something special about the land itself.
Is this in todays Guardian? I must get my dad to save an Amesbury Journal for me this week.
