And EH who didn't like the public seeing it for free, likewise as will be the case of the A303 when it is tunnelled. It's gone from being free for the Nation to walk through freely to a 100% cash cow! None of it is being done to return the stones to a more natural environment but to make money. End of!

Can you explain to me why the closure of the A344 would increase traffic through villages? The only difference I can see is that cars now need to approach the A303 along the A360 - which doesn't pass through any villages along the stretch in question.
