I guess other means of transportation from the VC to the Stones have been looked into, and maybe on the cards when funding becomes available. The Land Rover solution does look a bit temporary...

Have the LR's been donated do you know? It's the sort of thing that would appeal to a company seeking publicity I would have thought.

Dunno but it’s a good point. Hope they’ll be a stink kicked up if they start using them (or the carriages) for any sort of advertising though.
