or is it just of a temporary sort of nature as opposed to a permanent building - because of planning regulations and so on? the toilets (as I recall) are the same.

There's a mention of the visitor centre plans in this article today ( http://www.guardian.co.uk/culture/2009/jul/22/dcms-culture-department-funding-deficit ). Anyone know what the estimated total mass of stone is in the Stonehenge monument ?
