I guess it's a case of not the very worst option then, fingers crossed. Six cheers for NT for that at least.

Beyond that, we'll have to wait and see what's planned as the Airman's Corner option could mean a lot of different things.

I've always assumed temporary, even if meant sincerely, will mean donkeys years...

Something resembling an immigration detention centre according to one councillor -

"PLANS for the new Stonehenge visitor centre at Airman’s Corner were unveiled on Saturday and immediately condemned as “a missed opportunity”.

"The proposed building “looks more like an immigration detention centre than a place where you feel part of something ancient and mystic”, said city and county councillor Paul Sample."
