Stonehenge and its Environs 134

We suppose there was an ORS standing stone in Halliwell that must have been brought from either Alderley Edge or Frodsham, both of which are a fair old distance. The curious thing is that the fragments of the stone are still valued - my dad has one and there's another built in over the entrance to a stone mill building. Then there's Long Meg - it's only from four or five miles away but it's still a hefty lump to shift.
