I've posted a few pics and comments about the early stages of the excavations at Woodhenge, The Cuckoo Stone and the Cursus.

A few caveats...its early yet so theories may come and go...I think I remember most of what I was told correctly but could have mis-heard!

Fascinating few hours in good weather with equally interested friends and we have made a date to go to the next open days (8/9 Sept) when the trenches at Durrington Walls may have come up with the goods including when or why the southern entrance was blocked.
