The imagery was quite nice, though not a lot of winterwear for the solstice!!
The idea of a white avenue is endearing, especially as it would light up with the setting sun and moon beams at least at for a short stretch before dipping to Stonehenge Bottom. But it's still a uniting of Sun and Moon, much as Cornwell suggested. His interpretation is as good as any archaeologist's though he missed the moonset above the sun.
