It all makes perfect sense, but it's the sheer amount of repeated data in different sections that makes it hard to make a mental map of. I kept thinkiing "Didn't I just see that one...?" and then realising why it was in both sections...I found the solar references
hard to weedle out [weedle, from Weedon...oh, wrong thread] except in the equinox/eclipse sections...now my head is hurting again.

How about a 19-year project of solstice/equinox moonrise explanatory photography to go with it?

Should be ready by 2026!

I started work on this very thing with Gerald Hawkins in 2002, so far so good :)
next date is 3rd march for a total lunar eclipse.

Interesting comments. It was written in Geek mode in 2001, in other words with no thoughts about consumer-friendliness.
