IS there anything we can do to raise the pressure to EH to get some signage? .... I still think there's nowt wrong with us making our own signs (as long as they don't just end up as litter, of course!)

I think a "pilot study" would be good, bureaucracies like those. We could put up signs at just a couple of places and see if they made a difference. If they did then EH would find it hard to dismiss the idea.

Yes, that's a good idea, but do you mean that before we put the signs up we have to get permission from the quangos ? That could end up getting us nowhere.
