Anyone been along the A303 east of Amesbury lately? It seems bizarre that there's so much fuss about the roads past Stonehenge when about two minutes down the road is the most enormous and offensive building site you're likely to see. They're turning acres and acres of land into the laughably titled 'solstice business park'. It's an affront to the eye and in a landscape speckled with barrows must surely have destroyed all sorts of interesting things in this area on the way up to Beacon Hill. Anyone seen this?
