"We would support the setting aside of a piece of land within the World Heritage Site that could act as a ceremonial funerary shrine for the Pagan and Druid communities.
This could be used not only for the reburial of the ancient dead, but also as a place of honouring the dead within many modern spiritual communities."

Sounds to me like an attempt to get a 'druids cemetary' near stonehenge, or at least a big pagan cenotaph thing. Maybe we could get an antiquarian one as well? ;)

I think they should be given an excarnation slab on the traffic island.

Not a chance. Any modern burials within a World Heritage site such as this one would be out of the question.

Believe it or not there are actually modern druid's ashes buried inside Stonehenge from the early twentieth century. That was about the last time we tried interfering with the site directly as if it was our own intellectual property.

I'm totally up for a reburial site for remains found, but that's it.
