Very true.

I have been wondering if I should invest in a 'fish eye' lens for the Iphone or not ;0.

I just wanted to say that high tech equipment doesn't guarantee high quality photographs, It takes skill and technical know how for that, plus creativity and sometimes a small amount of luck.

Yeah, couldn't agree more. I've seen plenty of expensive camera gear wasted in the hands of people who don't know how to use it - or worse, who wouldn't know how to compose a good picture to save their lives.
