So you think they'd have come essentially along the ridgeway (and maybe past Marden)? Can you give me a grid reference for where you mean at Market Lavington as there are a number of tracks, i'd be interested to go and see. Part of my family came from Urchfont (well they were there a couple of hundred years ago, and no doubt before that), it'd be nice to imagine they saw a few stones go by.
