You can't beat Golden Cap. But I've written three fieldnotes for that so I should probably shut up now. There's a car park in the woods on Langdon Hill. The pub in seatown is nice (but busy) and you can't get better chips than in West Bay. So that's my recommendation.

ps if you're in lyme regis, take a walk out along the beach to the west. If you keep going there are huge huge ammonites in the rocks (luckily they're safe because they're so big and heavy).
