Personally I would 'do' the A35 if I were you. Winterbourne Abbas circle, The Broadstone, Poor Lot barrow cemetary, Long Bredy Bank barrow, The Helstone (sic)standing stone and then down & round to a twilight visit to The Valley of the Stones.
