would love to but it clashes with number 2 sons birthday, also living where i do on the dengie peninsular, transport is a bit sparse. would love to show you some of my finds from the blackwater and crouch foreshores. Next time you go to st peters on the wall, walk to the beach then walk a couple of hundred meters east of the chapel, at some point, if its low tide, you may come across a scattering of red tile and brick lying in the shingle. What you will be seeing is the remains of a roman bathhouse lying in situ.
