The Salthouse barrows are well worth a visit, there are two that are iirc easily reachable, but you may have a bit of a fight against the bracken...
Also there are supposed to be mini-barrows within a mile but I was on a deadline to see other sites so gave up on them.

Rite.... printed out maps for Salthouse and Roughton (causewayed enclosure AND mortuary enclosure next to it!!).... so I'll see how things go this weekend. Its good that most of them are on paths... Mrs KK seems to have something against climbing over barbed wire, crawling under closely planted pine plantations or wading thru' bogs... can't think why??
