Firstly, apologies for resurrecting this thread rather than starting a new one. Hello Moss, and anyone else - wondered if you could help. Am going to West Wales for a few days, early October - staying near St. David's. Very much want to get back on the megalithic trail - given time will be relatively short, what are the 'must see' monuments/sites in the area. I will have access to a car on this occasion.

Any pointers much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

And if you want a long walk in this part of Carn Meini there is this. Only one photo by Gladman....

Further on there is the Gors Fawr stone circle

Then of course the most famous Pentre Ifan,

In fact there is so much to see and I think you have seen some of the other cromlechs in this area. You need a year to see everything.

Not forgetting the walk down from St.Davids to St.Non's chapel.

And then St.David's Head, or St.Elvis cromlech outside St.Davids
