At the winters solstice, most people were observing the sun rise.
It is my considered opinion, that they were observing the wrong thing.
I posted something which must have seemed odd.
I was reporting an event that happened in the night, this moment I consider ,each month, was the moment when hill top fires would be lit in a sequence following the moons passage over the earth.
This short period (again used that word on purpose ) 7 minutes I consider was the most important time of all for ancient men/women.
For these 7 minutes the earths energies flow in the opposite direction, due to the moons gravity effect.
The long barrows were for the celebration of life, not anything to do with burial, they may have become for burial later.
