Yeah. It's just one of those places I've driven past, but always had somewhere more interesting to go :-)

It's a fascinating place. The central mound covered the burnt remains of a wooden hut, which appeared to have been built, used briefly and then set alight. In the centre there was a huge wooden pole set into the mound - Ygdrasil anyone?

The King's Stable is a man-enhanced pond that they found lots of sacrificed himan bodies in when excavated.

Must get there sometime.
