A lovely surprise when that came on. They talked about Long Meg's alignment with the winter solstice, the large ditched enclosure which has given rise to the dig and showed part of the stone axe that has been excavated which came from Langdale. They even talked the four schoolboys who found the gold hair clip not too far away from Long Meg. Definitely one of the better episodes of Countryfile - not yet available on iplayer.
