Bearberry, Beardgrass, Birdstongue, Canoe BirchColtsfoot, Dyer's Broom, Fumitory, Heather, Lady's Mantle, Larkspur, Motherwort, Onion, Scotch Broom, Shavegrass, White Birch.

Plants that will give green with a tinge of something else e.g. greyish green, yellowish green etc,
Black Alder, Black Oak, Bracken, Dog's Mercury, Lily of the Valley, Lombardy Poplar, Nettle, Red Maple, Rose of China, Sorrell, Tansy, Wax Myrtle.

Nettles give a lovely green. Just because we are now using inorganic mordants doesn't mean it's always been that way.
