After several attempts I think I finally found this site a few weeks ago. It's in a wood near Conkwell, a few miles from Bath, grid ref. ST 797631 and shown as Jug's Grave Cairn on MAGIC. If I'm right it appears to consist of a main circular stone wall, presently without a roof, with several small chambers to the side of it. Trees surround the cairn with roots growing through the walls. Has anybody else visited this site (did I actually find the right place!) and does anyone have any idea as to the age, usage and possible connections to other sites in the Bath area?

Also known as Conkwell stone circle.
There are several stones left in the hedgerow.
Best time to visit is Feb.

Historical note:

The golden sun-disk was discovered at Jug's Grave by a well-known dowser called Guy Underwood. This fact is mentioned in his obituary in the Wiltshire Times, May 15th, 1964.

We also went to find this a while back. And its odd. Very odd. Looks more like a ruined building to my eyes.. Unless we found a ruined building and not the cairn. Do have piccies somewhere though, so should put them up!
