Yea. It's like that in my Waerhouse 'Stone Circles Of Cumbria' book. But now it's hardly recognisable.

And the big bank of 'waste' is high enough to almost obscure the power station now. You can only see the tops of the chimneys.

Hmm. Sounds like the neglect continues but the overgrowth etc MAY protect it. What do you mean by 'bank of waste', Harv?

Haveta say that the only time I've been, yonks ago, it was waaaaayyy overgrown but as it was in crop too, I couldn't get to it.

If I'd known what I know now, perhaps I'd have put aside my concerns about slightly damaging the crop, the way the farmer seems to put aside/not have any concerns about the circle....
