I can vaguely remember a swimming pool - there was one at the Kingfisher in Wall Heath, too?

wouldn't be at all surprised to discover that my school chums Steve & Richard had a hand in the redevelopment

I might be arranging a 70's reunion at the Old Teds Club if anyone is interested.....

I grew up in Wall Heath just up the road from The Kingfisher. They did indeed have a swiming pool. They also had an enormous fishtank in the foyer full of piranhas, too, which I loved as a kid.

sadly the Stewponey and I think the Lido is no more

its now yuppy falts and a housing estate behind it
