I had a 'bit of a do' with about 8 of the buggers as I was leaving Cerrig Caerau & Lled Croen yr Ych a couple of years ago.

Not sure whether they were just being friendly or not. Didn't wait to find out - they were gathering pace at the time....

I've read that it depends on their age & whether there are cows in the field with them. Ask to see their birth certificates before entering the field & take a cow everywhere with you. That'll work.

I like cows.

I had a traumatic time up there as well, but it was the elements that got us.

Given that Lled Croen yr Ych means 'the width of the ox hide', do you think the cows were on the defensive? Perhaps they thought you were going to measure the circle.
