Have seen nothing mentioned anywhere down here...have you tried what was Cornwall Arch Unit and is now the Historic Enviroment team? They can be found on the Cornwall County Council site.
Have yet to go to Castlewich...was the farmer happy for you to ave a look?

yeah. the farmer was very nice about it. he seemed very interested in the henge. he was the one who told me that it was Exeter Uni who surveyed it, but I think he must be mistaken as they are denying it as I said.I have e-mailed CAU, or what was formerly CAU and am waiting for a reply. It is all a bit of a mystery!!

Oh yeah... thanks Mr Hamhead for the directions to Stripple Stones. Would not have found it without them. Even with the directions it took a bit of spotting!! In November, that small stream that needs crossing to get to it is a bit of a torrent!!! I am very dedicated and got quite wet (Hee Hee) but it was worth it. It is in a very impressive setting.
