went to see the druid's circle yesterday and one of the stones (the pointy south-west one) was covered in red paint. Seemed to be recent, as an "offering" of a rose was also paint-splattered.

anybody know anything about it?

I'd post a pic - but don't know how!

Hiya!

To post a pic, it must be no longer than 720 pixels on the longest edge, with a file size of no more than 200kb (should be able to find all this out in the image's properties by righ-clicking it and selecting "Properties") - all this can be changed in most computer art programs...

Go to the page on TMA that you wish to upload the image to (eg http://www.themodernantiquarian.com/site/71), and select "Add an image" from the "Add" drop down menu.

Click "Browse" and go to the location of your image on your PC. Select the image.

Add any info you wish to appear with the image.

Click "Submit"

Voila! It's all yours!

By the way - this is something Heritage Action would be interested in if you fancy dropping them a line! They have a form you can fill in at http://www.heritageaction.org/?page=submitasite if you fancy... I've passed your post on, but if you have any more info, I'm sure they'd love to know!

Hope I've not overcomplicated things... ;o)
