There's a sturdy horizon notch, for the southerly setting moon, from one of the Thornhope stone rows (none of which are listed here). There's a small row for the northern set (Oct 22 13:45 BST & Oct 23 13:45GMT), with a pair of robbed-out cairns on the horizon to frame it, but a large stone row - with a fallen outlier and two pieces of found Rock Art - for the northern rise (Oct 22 19:45 BST). Sadly the horizon is obscured by woodland to the northeast, so this last alignment is impractical. The afore mentioned little stone row (SMR listed) is, luckily, on a public footpath ...
