Ah cheers LS. I googled her myself but came up with zilch, so good one. Looks like my dating may not be too far off. Where would I be likely to find more out about her, you being quite into that sort of thing?

Seems she was quite popular. I did a check through the same link and about 5 or 6 of her watercolours had gone through the auction house. Mainly pastoral scenes which I love anyway!

Here's a photo of the watercolour and an aerial pic I took of what it looks like now. You will notice the 'pointy' stone from where the painting was brushed behind. Fox Tor is the mound in the background to the north-west.
