Predictably I don't have a photograph of the Wogglestones scanned. I've just upgraded to Windows 2000 and this scanner is unsupported and has been offline for about a week now. There's a backlog of images to input and now I've started to rebuild the machine itself...

I have a half-decent picture of that drilled stone that is similarly proportioned to the Archer's whetstone scanned. I'll post that later. I've also got a picture of the rock next to what-I-think-is a cupmarked boulder burial capstone. It has three drill holes and is possibly otherwise carved...

My new-to-me camera works well !

One of the things to be *VERY* careful of (and I'm sure you've considered this) is that some drilled holes are in fact just that. Holes drilled in by a farmer in preparation for dynamiting a stone that is in his way, or to get at whatever treasures lie beneath.

I come across these all over Ireland as so many tombs were destroyed to make road hardcore.
