I too wish him a very speedy recovery.

(I also make a mental note not to mutter sentences like, "All gods are bastards", when visiting sites.)

Yeah..hope the guy comes round. On the same note, many years back I was sat in the circle at Castlerigg when Nature blessed us with a grand sequence of thunderstorms, taking it in turn down the valleys before lashing its forks around us. Everyone took cover & sat in their dry cars, etc, whilst I sat alone in the circle - in a rather good altered state - for a good hour, drenched. After sometime, one of the forks ruptured the heavens next to me & smashed the wall in two 100 yards away. Twas incredible! I've had this happen to me at a number sites over the years. Not quite sure whether I should take it that the gods are selling "Hello" or "Piss off!"

slightly off topic, but on the subject of "acts of god", did anyone notice that following the floods in Boscastle, the witchcraft museum survived relatively unscathed, yet the adjacent christian gift shop was destroyed??
