Yeah, its amazing. I looked out at the back garden last night, when the frost had turned everything white and crispy, and the moon was so bright - I wondered what it would have been like without so much ambient light....travelling by the light of the moon?

Ought to check our worms are alright.....perhaps should have moved the worm-bin in the shed?

In the winter earthworms go deep in the soil to the boundary of clay or bedrock. The last week has seen the first hard frost in Newcastle. Snow on the Cheviots and Cross Fell.

We've certainly forgotten about the moon.

Not very easy I'd say. I'm one of the lucky ones who live where there aren't many street lights and a few hundred yards gets me to where the lights don't reach. You can see the big objects but the detail goes so any unevenness in the ground at your feet cannot be seen
Nice on a moonlit summer night though
