If so, the the ref is approx SX 034 545 - EDs will be able to change it.

Oh, and RotS says this stone was referenced as early as 1525, so if it's a rubbing stone, it's been there a while!

No problem, I'm glad we got it sorted.

So the shadow I noted near the telegraph wires was the stone?

Looking on the OS Get-a-Map service, that field is actually at SX 034 544, so maybe the EDs could change the ref on the page for us...
