I will be coming to see this one for myself as soon as I can do so. It's a beaut!

It is lovely isn't it. and it's nice to have the c&rs and the bowl (big cup) occurring on the same stone.
One thing Hob and I observed was that the stone seems to have a sort of symetry....well not exactly symetry but the c&rs and the big cup are balanced....if you know what I mean... it feels as if the carvings are contemporary with each other.
If your heading this way give me a shout out and I'll have a mooch up there with you if I'm not on the briney sea.

I thought the problem with bullauns was that they spanned such a long time frame, much the same as the Scottish 'pot barley stones', running from BC into the AD.

We got no shortage of big cups, maybe not as big as that one but big all the same.
