I'm reading a (pdf) copy of a biography of Howard Carter. Everything was different in those days (of course). My Toothills (an intact long barrow in Bolton) makes his Silbaby look like a pimple. Perhaps someone could consider digging up the original Silbaby thread and posting it here. I've been banned a couple of times and got on fine with Pete til I started on about crop circles, then he flipped. There's no chance of any archaeologists making a core sample at Toothills (which is correctly called Halliwell Hill).
