The first thing cut in such situations is research and a with 32% hit... but I do expect this mound will go on the list of 'to be surveyed'. My recollection is though that in 2000 even Silbury was way down that list and would not have been surveyed when it was were it not for the collapse.
It could be that following the cuts there will be no-one to champion or take up this project as those left might have other priorities.
