Thom gives this line, Sanctuary - Silbury, as possessing a declination of +28.4. My NASA moontable gives the moon's declination, at midnight tomorrow night, as +28 22 52 - pretty darn close. It's a pity the weather forecast isn't better, but there must be a chance of seeing it, and, perhaps, even photographing it. The Chinese proverb 'a picture is worth more than a thousand words' could be revised upward in this case.

I'm booked into Stronehenge for moonrise tomorrow evening but if the weather holds I'll get up early and try for moonset at the Sanctuary.
