You can see how Selkley became Silbury and gave birth to the legend of King Zil !

Windmill Hill is Wymans Hill on the map to this day....

PS Edward Slow was writing of the Wiltshire Archaeological Society visit to Wilton, he ended up joining the Society at the end of the 19th century. If you see any of his books for under £10 its a snip !

On the map in the Red Lion Waden hill is also called
Weedon hill and Windmill Boll.
There is also Wayden penning next to it.
Good job they standardised spellink eh?
