It is inside the site of the Palisade enclosure.
The view from the centre of the wooden enclosure makes both the mound and Silbury appear to be roughly the same size.

"Palisade Springs"...sounds like one of those shopping malls just outside Las Vegas.... ;-)
Seriously though... do we know if they were contemporary? I just think that until we have done more research the fact that it's so intimately associated with Waden and the springs perhaps my (amended) name of "Waden Springs Mound" gives it a sense of place and maybe purpose. There is, you must admit, nothing to see of the original palisade. But, Hey! It's your site mate!
