I would have thought waterways to have been very important.

As you say, food, water, transport and ideal for trade, other communities being ether up or down stream and simple to find

Far more reliable a water source than say, a spring.

Nothing upstream here, though! This is where it starts.

With the exception of Carn Owen, guess I've more or less exhausted my opportunities for much new insight into Pumlumon for the forseeable future, at least on site. No so other members.........
