Hope this is of use to someone, and I hope that they're repeating this through summer or I'm wasting my words:

Was out doing some sketching at Alderley Edge today and as I returned (somewhat short of breath after coming back up the hill) the Caving Club Centre were having an open day - the sign said: 'Free Admission', 'Handle Prehistoric tools' and words to the effect of 'learn about the mines'.

Had I not had to get back I'd have been in there.
