Brilliant, thanks Moss. Those would both be excellent walks and the current dry weather will make them less boggy than they might otherwise be.

Good to see this post, am a great believer in walking to ancient sites as part 'a walk' if possible (not for everyone I do realise) it always heightens the sense of achievement and you see so much else in the way of flora/fauna (and weather) on route. It doesn't have to be as long as 10 miles which is more a hike than a walk - one of my favourite recollections was the walk across fields from St Buryan to Boscawen-un in April two years ago. Not really very long but intensely rewarding.

Don’t give Bucky and Loie any more ideas than they already have :-)
